
Pork and Chicken Fried Rice
This great combination of pork and chicken takes away the need to splurge on takeout. Less sodium, less oil, better for you and tastes fantastic!
Equipment
- Cutting Board
- Chef Knife
- pot w/ lid
- 2 Saute pans
- Heat resistant spoon/spatula
Ingredients
- 1 each Chicken Breast diced
- 4 oz Pork diced
- 1/2 cup Rice
- 1 cup Peas
- 2 each Carrots peeled, diced
- 1/4 each Onion diced
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 each Egg
- Soy Sauce as needed
- Salt as needed
- Pepper as needed
- Olive Oil as needed
Instructions
- Cook rice and let it cool.
- Scramble the egg and set it aside for the rice.
- Heat a large saute an on medium. Add in 1 Tbs oil and then the chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook minutes. Add in onion and carrots.
- Add in the garlic, peas and pork. MIx in a bit of soy sauce. As it heats start add in the the rice and stir together. Taste and adjust seasoning and add in soy sauce if needed. Heat through and then fold in the scrambled egg.
- Serve and enjoy!
