Equipment

  • Strainer
  • Saute Pan
  • Heat resistant spoon/spatula

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 box Spaghetti
  • 1/2 each Onion diced
  • 1 each Carrot peeled and diced
  • 1/2 can Diced Tomato
  • 1/2 can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Thyme
  • 1 Tbsp Basil
  • Parmesan optional
  • Olive Oil as needed
  • Salt as needed
  • Pepper as needed

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta to al dente, drain and reserve (toss in a bit of oil to help with sticking)
  • Heat a saute pan and add in the ground meat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes and break up the meat while it browns.
  • Add in the onion, carrot, garlic and herbs. Cook 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomatoes and tomato products. Simmer 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning and toss together with the pasta.
  • Top with parmesan if using.
  • Serve and Enjoy!
