
Spiced Shrimp Salad
We've turned up the heat a bit by adding Cajun spices to fresh sauteed shrimp. Tossed with fresh veggies and a simple vinaigrette, it makes for a light and filling meal.
Equipment
- Cutting Board
- Chef Knife
- Saute Pan
- Heat resistant spoon/spatula
- 2 Mixing bowls
- Whisk
Ingredients
- 10 oz Shrimp peeled, deveined
- Cajun Seasoning as needed
- 1/4 each Onion diced
- 1 each Tomato diced
- 1/2 each Bell Pepper sliced
- 1 head Romaine Lettuce chopped and washed
- 2 oz Red Wine Vinegar
- 3 oz Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Parsley chopped
- 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 clove Garlic minced fine
- 1 Tbsp Olives chopped
- Salt as needed
- Pepper as needed
Instructions
- Heat a saute pan on medium high, add in 1 Tbs oil and the shrimp. Season with Cajun seasoning and salt and pepper. Cook on each side until the tails start to curl. Remove from the pan once they are cooked through. Let rest
- For the vinaigrette blend together the Dijon, garlic, olives, parsley, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Adjust seasoning
- Toss together the salad greens with the tomato, bell pepper, and onion. Toss together with the dressing and top with shrimp.
- Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
Cajun seasoning is to your preference of heat.
