Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 each Onion minced
  • 1/4 each Bell Pepper minced
  • 1 Tbsp Dill chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 3 oz Salad Greens
  • 1/2 each Tomato sliced
  • 1/4 each Cucumber sliced
  • Greek Vinaigrette as needed
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 loaf Pita Bread halved
  • Salt as needed
  • Pepper as needed
  • Hummus optional
  • Tzatziki optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix the ground turkey with onion, bell pepper, dill, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt and pepper. Form burger patties.
  • Heat a saute pan on medium high, add in 1 Tbs oil and the burgers. Sear on each side and cook until an internal temperature of 165 F.
  • Toss the lettuce with tomato, cucumber and the dressing.
  • Serve burgers on the pita with salad on the side. If using hummus or tzatziki top burgers with them and serve
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Homemade tzatziki can be made with a 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 a cucumber diced (seeds removed), 2-4 Tbs dill chopped, 1 clove of garlic chopped, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
