Equipment

  • Chef Knife
  • Pot
  • Heat resistant spoon/spatula
  • Blender

Ingredients
 
 

  • 12-16 oz Stock
  • 2 each Potatoes chop
  • 1 each Leek the white portion, washed and chopped
  • 1/4 each Onion diced
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sage chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Thyme chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • Salt as needed
  • Pepper as needed
  • Cheese optional
  • Additional Herbs optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat a pot and add in butter. Once melted add in the onion and leeks. Season and cook 3 minutes.
  • Add in the garlic, sage and thyme and cook 2 more minutes. Add in the potatoes and mix together.
  • Stir in the stock and bring to a simmer. Cook 20-30 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Blend together with a blender (use caution if using a stand blender and don't overfill)
  • Adjust seasoning and serve with cheese and chopped herbs if wanted
  • Enjoy!
