Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Oats Old Fashioned Rolled
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 each Apples cored and diced
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, heat oil and add in the apples. Season with salt, cinnamon, and add in honey.
  • Mix in the water and bring to a boil.
  • Add the rolled oats to the boiling water. Stir well to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the oats for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they reach your desired consistency.
  • If desired, sweeten the oatmeal with honey, adjusting the amount to your taste preference. Stir well to incorporate the sweetener.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the oatmeal rest for a minute or two.
