
Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Breakfast

- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 Chef Knife
Ingredients
- 2 cups Oats Old Fashioned Rolled
- 4 cups Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 each Apples cored and diced
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- In a medium-sized saucepan, heat oil and add in the apples. Season with salt, cinnamon, and add in honey.
- Mix in the water and bring to a boil.
- Add the rolled oats to the boiling water. Stir well to combine.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the oats for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they reach your desired consistency.
- If desired, sweeten the oatmeal with honey, adjusting the amount to your taste preference. Stir well to incorporate the sweetener.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the oatmeal rest for a minute or two.
